About VigoPass Austria

Who We Are

VigoPass Austria is an independent information service dedicated to helping drivers navigate Austria's digital motorway vignette system. We were founded in 2020 by a team of frequent travellers who experienced firsthand the confusion around vignette requirements, especially for foreign visitors.

Our content is written and reviewed by people who regularly drive on Austrian motorways. We do not receive commissions from ASFINAG or any reseller. Our goal is to provide accurate, unbiased information.

Our Approach

We follow a hub-and-spoke content model: the Pricing Matrix is the central hub, with all other pages linking back to it as the primary decision tool. This ensures you always have a reference point when comparing options.

Editorial Policy

All content is reviewed annually (typically in November/December when ASFINAG announces new tariffs) and updated as needed when regulations change. We cite official sources and note when information may be subject to change.
